Horror, Fear

Do you know that sensation?

You're walking, at night, into the darkness. Silence is your only companion while, foot by foot, you move trying to not be heard. By who? There is no one at home.

You're walking, suddenly you start running faster and faster to the closest room, turning on the light to feel safer. A cold shiver, a soft wind, the house creaks. The unknown scares you.

Did you ever felt an icy grasp, an hand leaning on your shoulder? You turn around and nothing is there. *Just my imagination* must have been your first thought to take courage.

I'm here to say to you: keep being strong. Keep telling yourself it is just your imagination, overcome your fears. What is not there can't hurt you. When courage will finally come, and you will not feel the need to check your surroundings, I will be there.

Please... don't turn around.
