Game Designer
About Me
A life of code and tales.
Born in Padova on the 14th of May, 1993, I was always certain of something: games are fun.
My mother was not of the same opinion when, during a hide and seek game (that no one knew I was playing), I hid so well that she was not able to find me and almost called the police to look for me... Of course I came out of my hiding place victorious and triumphant.

I've grown up dreaming of becoming a story teller like Alan-a-Dale from the Disney Classic "Robin Hood": the poor VHS was asking for mercy after the 1000th time I rewound it from the start to hear the rooster sing the movie soundtrack.

Thanks to my brother, I discovered video games, and studying became just a hobby to cultivate when the game was over (the game was usually Final Fantasy VIII or Dungeon Keeper II).
To stretch my bones, I had to choose a sport that allowed me to express all my creativity.
Since raiding villages with vikings was not an option, I thought that the hammer throw discipline was an acceptable alternative.
Unfortunately, no skulls were crushed during my career as an athlete. I suppose I should be happy about that...

Once I reached the nightmare of all teenagers (aka "High School") another passion was brought to me by one of my professors: programming.
I didn't know but, at that point, the damage was beyond repair.

I said goodbye to my school and threw myself (as I said, I was used to throwing heavy things) into university to study Computer Science.
After years of laziness and part... sorry I meant, after years of hard work and discipline I finally graduated and started working as a Software Developer.

But even though I had a job for which I worked hard for, I soon realized that something was missing.
In that dark and cold place - known to the public as "Programmers' office" - stress and coding were suffocating me.
Writing came to my rescue.

Between fantasy lore for a D&D campaign, fables for kids based on Dixit cards and scary tales which didn't help my scarce sleep, I started getting all my fantasies out of my head to put them on paper or - to be fair - into "bytes" (I realized long ago that my handwriting is indecipherable for a common human being).

Game Design was the next natural step. What better way to mix all my passions (videogames, computer science and writing) than finding my way into the gaming industry?
And so, after 2 Game Design classes, 5 projects, and far fewer hours of sleep, I found my way through. Starting by working for Sato Code and developing 2 Escape Rooms around the city of Padova, I quickly moved abroad to find good fortunes in Slovenia - To be fair I didn't move that far - for Triternion, a company known for creating Mordhau.
After less than 2 years, Italy called me back, and now 3DClouds is the new home of my creativity.

What the future has in store for me I cannot say, but one thing is sure: there are still a lot of stories to tell, and games to develop.

Are you still here? Hey! Wake up! Come on, it was not that boring!
Ok, maybe a little... but it's over, I promise!
Well, at least for now...

P.S. I know that you want to know this... I was hiding behind the window curtains.
